 note = {110007150360, 高齢化社会の到来により,病院で最期を迎える人も増加しており,その多くは一般病棟で最期を迎えている。全国的にも終末期を迎える人々がQOLを高め,より良いときを迎えられるようにするための調査・検討が行われている。 本研究では,道北地域の医療において中心的役割を果たしている4病院に勤務する看護職員が終末期医療についてどのように考えているのかを知り,この地域における終末期医療および看護の課題について検討することを目的として質問紙調査を行った。 調査結果から,道北地域における終末期医療および看護の課題としては,チーム医療の充実に関する検討,一般病棟において充実したケアを行うための治療環境の人的・物的整備と看護職員の教育研修,緩和ケア病棟やホスピスの設直に関する検討,在宅医療の充実などである。, ln our progressively aging society, the number of individuals whose lives end in a hospital is increasing. Most of these individuals die in general wards. Studies and investigations are now being carried out across Japan in order to identify methods that improve the quality of life of individuals who are coming to the end of their life and make their final days as comfortable as possible.The purpose of the present questionnaire study was to elucidate the attitudes towards terminal care among nursing staff working in 4 hospitals that have central roles in medical care northern Hokkaido. Data collected in the present study may be useful for discussing issues in terminal medical care and nursing care in the area.The results of the present study indicated the importance of the following issues in terminal medical care and nursing care in the area : the improvement of multi-specialty team medicine ; the development of medical environmental resources and training and education for nursing staff in order to ensure thorough care is provided in general wards ; the establishment of a palliative care or hospice care ward ; and the improvement of home-based medical care systems.},
