Student were given questionnaires the first time after an initial training exercise,again after repeated practice by student,and then finally after they had collected blood from each other. Comparing results from the first and second questinnaires,the difficulty rationg of 4 items such as \"applying tourniquet\" decreased,while the overall confidence rating increased. Comparing results from the first and final questionnaires,the difficulty rating of 7 items such as \"the angle of injection\" decreased,while the overall confidence rating increased.Comparing results from the second and final questionnaires,the difficulty rating of 2 items such as \"the angle of injection\" decreased,while the overall confidence rating increased.Comparing the results of last year's survey,these results seem to indicate that improvements in this year's training techniques, namely that of having students practice repeatedly on their own initiative, white imagining injecting an invisible vein,led to increased confidence..Results from this study can be sued to improve methods for teaching venous blood drawing in the
