| 内容記述 | 1906,1966年には,丙午の迷信に従い,出生率や出生性比など,人口動態統計に大きな変化が起こった。次の丙午年は2026年,今から8年後であり,子どもを出産する女性の年齢が30歳前後であることを勘案すると,本学の学生が相当する年齢層となる。学生を対象に,丙午出産についての意識調査を実施し,2026年の人口動態統計の傾向を予測した。 回収率は15.4%と低く,特に男性での回収数が少なかった。丙午迷信は約40%が知っていたが,由来は知らないものが多かつた。本人,親,親戚の80%以上が迷信を気にしていず,男女とも約80%以上が,丙午出産を避けようと思っていなかった。避ける場合は,避妊が主であり,人工妊娠中絶や虚偽の届けは考えていなかった。半数以上が,2026年には人口変動が起こらないと予測していた。 しかし,20%弱の学生が気にしており,女性は半数がパートナーや親など周囲に影響を受けると回答していること,さらに,生殖医療の普及や,近くなったときのメディアからの情報など,様々な社会因子も予想されることから,若千の出産数減少や,出生性比の変化が起こる可能性は否定できないと予想した。 |

| 内容記述 | Large drops in the number of childbirths and in the ratio of female to male births observed in 1906 and 1966 were caused by the hinoeuma superstition in Japan. The year 2026 is designated as the next hinoeuma year. Students currently around 20 years old will be likely to have babies 8 years from now. Therefore, we conducted a survey of attitudes toward childbirth during a hinoeuma year by an anonymous self‐adminiistered multiple-choice questionnaire, and attempted to predict 2026 vital statistics for childbirth. Recovery rate was quite low at 15.4%, and among male students especially the response rate was only 11%. Around 40% of students knew about the hinoeuma superstition, however, few knew of the origin. Around 80% of students and their parents and relatives did not believe in the hinoeulna supersthion, stating they would do nothing to avoid a hinoeulna birth. If they were to avoid a hinoeuma birth,they would prevent conception,but not have abortions or report false birthdays. Over half of them predicted that the change in vital statistics for childbirth in 2026 will not occur. We,however, do not deny that some changes will occur, because around 20% of students took some notice of the hinoeuma superstition, and a half of female were influenced by partner's or parental intentions, in addition, there is likely to be some influence on this from the further development of reproductive medicines and by media reporting. |
