| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は,子どもの処置に付き添った場合と付き添わなかった場合での両場面に対する親の思いと各場面における親の思いを比較し,親のニーズを捉えた対応を検討することである。両場面の経験をもつ親を対象に自作の自記式質問紙により2010 年6 〜 8 月に,処置の付き添いに対する親の希望や思いに関する調査を実施した。その結果,付き添いに対する親の意向は「希望する」6 割,「希望しない」1 割,「どちらともいえない」3 割であった。思いの比較では,処置に付き添った時の方が安心感や医療者への信頼感は強く,付き添わない方が不安は強く子どもをよりかわいそうに感じることが示された。また,親も子どもの処置に参加する権利を求めており,子どもと親の意向を必ず聞いて欲しいという意見が示され,子どもと親のニーズに即したケアや思いを尊重する関わりの重要性を認識することにつながった。 | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The objective of this study was to compare parents' feelings in regard to being present or not when theirchildren undergo minor medical procedures in order to ascertain how to meet parents' needs. The survey involvedparents who had experience of being both present and not present during these procedures and was carried out betweenJune and August 2010 using our unique self-completion questionnaire. The survey was designed to investigate parents'wishes and feelings regarding accompanying their children during treatment. The results showed that 60% of parents"wished to attend treatment", 10% "did not wish to attend treatment," and 30% were "undecided." The comparison offeelings revealed that the parents had a higher sense of reassurance and trust for healthcare professionals if theyattended treatment, whereas parents felt more anxiety and sorrier for their children if they did not attend treatment. Inaddition, parents wished to have the right to be present during the treatment of their children and commented thathealthcare professionals should always ask children and parents what they wanted. These results underlined theimportance of the care meeting the needs of children and parents, and the relationship respecting the feelings of them. | |||||||||||||||||
