| 内容記述 | 本研究は、乳幼児突然死症候群(SIDS)の発症率が全国平均の2倍以上高い北海道において、生後1ヵ月児を持つ母親を対象にSIDSに対する知識の現状を明らかにすることを目的としたものである。調査方法は留置法アンケートで、道北地域で研究協力の得られた5施設において、対象者の産科入院中に質問紙を配布、1ヵ月健診時に回収し198名の回答を得た。質問項目は疾患の知識、厚労省の強化月間に対する知識、及び属性である。結果は単純集計にて行った。結果より、SIDSの疾患名自体は広く知られていることが示唆されたが、SIDSのリスク因子に関する知識では「うつぶせ寝」75.8%、「喫煙」71.7%、「非母乳哺育」26.8%であり、3因子全ての知識が十分に普及していないことが示唆された。また、厚労省のSIDS対策強化月間については92.4%が「知らない」と回答しており、知識普及の中心となるべき強化月間自体がほとんど普及していないことが示唆された。 | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study aims to clarify the current awareness of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) among mothers of 1-month old babies in Hokkaido, where the rate of occurrence is more than twice the national average. Questionnaires were distributed to suitable subjects during their hospitalization in the maternity wards at 5 institutions in Northern Hokkaido that had agreed to cooperate with this study and a total of 198 completed questionnaires were collected anonymously from mothers when they returned for their babies' 1-month check-ups. Questionnaire items covered three main categories : awareness of the syndrome itself, knowledge of the Ministry of Health, Labour & Welfare's"SIDS Awareness Month" campaign, and personal information about the respondent. Results were totaled and tabulated, suggesting that, although the term"SIDS"itself is widely known, knowledge of all 3 risk factors for SIDS - sleeping in a prone position [75.8%], smoking during pregnancy [71.7%], and non-breastfeeding [26.8%] - remains inadequate. Additionally, 92.4% of respondents were unaware of the"SIDS Awareness Month"promoted by the Ministry of Health, Labour & Welfare, suggesting that this campaign itself, central to raising awareness of SIDS, has had little effect so far. | |||||||||||||||||
